Plan Your Strawberry Jammin' Visit to Sanford, NC

Sanford, NC invites you to dive into everything strawberry, May 6-7! Strawberry Jammin’ is a two-day celebration of the fruit that’s dear to many of our hearts and taste buds.

Head into downtown Friday evening to start your weekend with the Strawberry Jammin’ Concert and Cocktail Crawl. The Downtown Alive! Spring Concert Series at The Depot kicks things off with music from Blackwater Band. While you’re there, grab a Cocktail Crawl map and afterwards, make your way to several restaurants and bars. At each stop, taste and sip a variety of strawberry-themed food and drink.

On Saturday morning, your destination is the Sanford Farmers’ Market where you’ll discover lots of fun activities. Enjoy everything from canning and preserving seminars to cooking demonstrations. Visit a string of vendor booths to shop fresh produce as well as jams, jellies and more. Local farmers on hand will also invite you out to their farms to pick your own sweet and delicious berries. Round the afternoon by heading into downtown to savor strawberry-inspired food stroll to 10 different restaurants.
